Your first five minutes

  1. Create an account. Go to aderra.ai and sign up. Choose Continue with Google, or fill in your full name, an optional username, your email, a password of at least 8 characters and Confirm password. Complete the anti-bot check, then press Continue. You must be 18 or older to use Aderra.

  2. Close the welcome card. The first time you sign in, a card introduces the affiliate program. Press Continue to chat. You can find it later under Affiliates in the menu.

  3. Ask something. A new chat opens with Ask anything. at the top. Type your question in the message box and press Enter. You can also start from one of the buttons under the box: Explore an idea, Write something or Solve a problem. New chats use GLM-5.3 Flash, the fast standard model.

  4. Go unfiltered when you need to. If the standard model hedges or refuses, flip the Unfiltered switch in the message box. You can also click Retry unfiltered under the reply, next to “Not the answer you wanted?”. The unfiltered model takes longer to start answering, so wait instead of sending again. See Chat basics.

  5. Give it more thought for hard questions. The menu next to the switch starts on Fast. Choose Medium or Thinking for maths, tricky code or careful planning. Replies take longer and use more credits.

  6. Keep a chat private. Turn on Temporary Chat at the top right before you start. On a phone, it’s in the menu at the top right. That chat stays out of your history and is deleted automatically after 7 days.

What the Free plan includes

Every account starts on Free. Free gives you 10 free messages a day; they come back at 00:00 UTC. The Plan page shows how many you have left today. If Aderra can’t reach the model, the message isn’t counted. A reply that was cut off or cancelled still counts.

After that, you need a paid plan (Plus, Pro or Max) or a credit pack. Buying credits also lifts the 10-message limit. The following need a paid plan:

  • Images. On Free, credits you buy also unlock images.
  • Apps, websites and slide decks (artifacts).
  • Connectors to your other apps.
  • The terminal: Aderra Agent, Claude Code and Codex. This needs Plus or above.

Explicit images and all video need Pro or Max. Buying credits doesn’t unlock them.

API keys are the exception. They work on every account, including Free, and they draw on a separate prepaid API wallet. See the API.

Prices and what each plan includes are always on the Plan page in the app. That page is the source of truth, because prices can change during the beta. Read more in Plans and credits.

The Image, Video and Voice entries open pages marked Coming soon. You don’t need them to make images or video. Ask for one in the chat. See Images and video.
