Your account
You must be 18 or older to use Aderra.
Creating an account
Section titled “Creating an account”On the sign-in screen, click Sign up, or use Continue with Google.
- Email and password: enter your name (at least 3 characters), an email address and a password of at least 8 characters, twice. A username is optional. A quick bot check runs on the form before it sends.
- Google: your account is created from your Google email address and name, with no password.
- Disposable email addresses aren’t accepted. If you see “The email address provided cannot be used”, use a permanent address.
After you sign up with an email address, we send a message from no-reply@aderra.ai with a link to verify it. The link works for 15 minutes. If it has expired, the page it opens offers Resend Email. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder.
The sign-in screen has a language picker, so you can use Aderra in your own language from the start.
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”Sign in with Continue with Google, or with your email and password.
- You stay signed in on the same browser for up to a week, counted from when you signed in. Using Aderra doesn’t extend it; after a week, sign in again.
- “Too many login attempts” means seven tries in five minutes. Wait five minutes and try again.
Forgot your password?
Section titled “Forgot your password?”- Click Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen and enter your email.
- Open the reset email from
no-reply@aderra.ai. The link works for 15 minutes. - Choose a new password, then sign in with it.
If you signed up with Google, you don’t have a password: keep using Continue with Google.
Two-factor authentication
Section titled “Two-factor authentication”Accounts with an email and password can add a second step at sign-in: Settings → Account → Two-factor authentication. You’ll scan a code with an authenticator app and get backup codes. Keep the backup codes somewhere safe. Each one works once, if you lose your phone.
With two-factor on, deleting your account also asks for a code.
API keys
Section titled “API keys”Keys for the terminal are created and revoked on the Connect page, and listed in Settings → API. Revoke any key you no longer use, and revoke one immediately if it may have leaked. See API keys and the API.
Emails we send
Section titled “Emails we send”Account emails are sent whenever they apply:
- email verification and password reset links,
- on a paid plan, a note when you’ve used half of the month’s plan credits, and reminders 7 days and 1 day before a plan you paid for ends,
- if you’re an affiliate, a notice whenever your payout details change.
Marketing email: Aderra doesn’t send any. If that changes, it will only go to people who agreed to receive it, and every marketing email will have a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing never stops account emails such as password resets and billing notices.
Deleting your account
Section titled “Deleting your account”Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Type your account email to confirm, then click Permanently delete my account.
Before you do:
- Copy out anything you want to keep. It can’t be undone. To save a conversation, open it and use Export/Share in the chat header (on a computer), then Export.
- On a yearly plan? Email support@aderra.ai before deleting to cancel it and get the refund the Terms describe: 50% of the value of the whole months remaining.
- Spend or give up your credits. Otherwise unused credits and plan time are lost and not refunded.
Deleting your account, usually right away and at most within 30 days:
- removes your conversations, messages, uploaded files and generated images,
- removes your agents, prompts, bookmarks and connected servers,
- revokes all your API keys, so the terminal stops working, and
- signs you out everywhere.
Some things are kept after deletion:
- payment, credit and usage records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They hold amounts, dates, models and token counts, not your conversations;
- support conversations, until you ask us to delete them;
- videos, which stay with the video provider that made them;
- records about a serious breach of the Terms, for as long as it takes to handle it;
- copies in backups, until they’re overwritten.
The Privacy page has the details.
If you have trouble deleting your account, email support@aderra.ai.
