Payments

Everything is paid from the Plan page in the app (Plan in the sidebar, or /plan). Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply where you live.

How you can pay

Crypto is the only way to pay right now. Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments.

Card payments aren’t available yet. On the Plan page, card buttons read Card: coming soon and can’t be clicked.

Paying with crypto

1. On the Plan page, choose Monthly or Yearly, then click Pay with crypto on the plan you want. For credits, pick a pack or type an amount and use the crypto button there.
2. You’re taken to the NOWPayments checkout. Choose a coin and network, then send the exact amount shown to the address shown.
3. When you’re done you come back to the Plan page. It says “Payment received. Your credits land once the network confirms it — usually a few minutes.” The page checks for your payment for about five minutes. If it hasn’t shown up by then, reload the page later.

If you close the checkout without paying, the Plan page says “Crypto payment cancelled. Nothing was charged.”

• Send the full amount. If a payment arrives short, nothing is granted automatically: we check it by hand. Write to support@aderra.ai with the date and amount so we can sort it out.
• Mind the minimums. Some coins and networks have a minimum payment above a small top-up. If the checkout won’t accept a small amount in one coin, choose another.
• Network fees are yours. The amount due is what must arrive; any fee your wallet or exchange charges comes on top.

Plans are prepaid terms

A plan paid with crypto is prepaid for 1 month or 12 months:

• It never renews automatically. Nothing is charged again unless you pay for another term.
• It starts as soon as your payment is confirmed and ends on a fixed date. The Plan page shows “Paid with crypto · active until” your end date, and Settings → Billing & usage shows “Paid with crypto · ends” and the date.
• A 12-month plan costs $200 (Plus), $1,000 (Pro) or $2,000 (Max), two months free. Its credits arrive one month at a time, each month of the year.

Extending your plan

While your plan is active, the button on your current plan reads Extend with crypto. Paying adds a new term after your current one ends, so no days are lost. You can extend by a month or by a year.

Switching to a different plan isn’t possible until your current term ends. Those plans show Available after your end date. If you try anyway, you’ll see “Your … plan is paid until …. You can switch plans after it ends.”

When a term ends

• Aderra emails you 7 days and 1 day before the end, unless you’ve already extended.
• On the end date your account goes back to Free. Free gives you 10 messages a day. Bought credits, or a new term, lift that limit.
• Plan credits left from the last month expire with the plan. Credits you bought stay and can still be spent.
• Your conversations and settings don’t change.

To keep your plan, extend it before the end date, or pay for a new term at any time after.

Buying credits

Under More room to create. on the Plan page:

• Credit packs: Small, $10 for 8,000 credits, or Large, $30 for 28,000 credits.
• Your own amount: under Or choose your own amount, type any amount from $5 to $500. You get 800 credits per dollar.

Bought credits go into your one balance, never expire while your account is open, and are not refundable. See Plans and credits.

Credits for the pay-as-you-go API are a separate wallet, bought on the Developers page. See API keys and the API.

Receipts

Aderra doesn’t email a receipt for crypto payments. Your plan, its end date and your balance are always on the Plan page and in Settings → Billing & usage. If you need a confirmation of a payment for your records, email support@aderra.ai with the date and the amount.

Refunds

• Monthly plans: not refunded once the month has started.
• Yearly plans: email support@aderra.ai from the address on your account. We refund 50% of the value of the whole months remaining, and the plan ends when the refund is issued.
• Credit packs and top-ups: not refundable.
• Something didn’t work: a failed generation is never charged. If something else you paid for didn’t work, tell us and we’ll put it right, including by refunding it.

Crypto refunds are paid in the same currency, to an address you give us, for the US dollar amount due, less the network fee.
