Plans and credits

How you pay

Plans and credits are paid in crypto from the Plan page in the app. Plans are prepaid for 1 or 12 months and never renew automatically. See Payments for how checkout works.

Plans

There are four plans: Free, Plus, Pro and Max.

Paying for 12 months gives you two months free. Credits are still granted one month at a time.

• Free gives you 10 messages a day, back at 00:00 UTC. It doesn’t include images, video or the terminal.
• Plus adds images, including our best image model for non-explicit images, terminal access, and a much longer context window.
• Pro and Max add unfiltered image and video generation: explicit images and all video. In the app, on Free and Plus, a request for an explicit image or for a video is declined before anything is charged. Calls paid from your pay-as-you-go API wallet don’t follow this rule. See Images and video.
• Uncensored chat (the Unfiltered switch) is on every plan, Free included.
• Every image is paid from your credits; no plan includes free images. In the chat’s Image model menu, Fast costs about 1 credit an image and Best quality 300. See Choose the image model.

The Plan page in the app shows the same comparison under How it compares, and it always shows the current prices.

Changing plan

• Moving up or down to a different plan is possible once your current term ends. Until then, the other plans’ buttons read Available after and your end date.
• Staying on the same plan longer is always possible: use Extend with crypto on your current plan. The new time starts when your current term ends, so you lose nothing.

Credits

Aderra uses credits instead of message counts, so a short question costs less than a long piece of work.

You have one credit balance, and it pays for everything: chat, images, video and the terminal. Spend it however you like.

• Chat uses credits for every word the model reads and writes. Long conversations, long answers and thinking mode use more.
• Images and video have fixed prices: a fast image is about 1 credit, a Best quality image 300, an uncensored Best quality image 80, and a five-second video 400. See Images and video.

What a plan’s credits buy, all from the same balance, so it’s one or the other:

The token range is for the standard model. The low end is typical chat. The high end is long conversations and terminal sessions, which reuse a lot of earlier context.

A plan’s credits arrive at the start of each month of your term. Unspent plan credits don’t carry over: they expire when the next month’s credits arrive, or when your term ends.

Credit packs and top-ups

Need more before your next month starts? Buy credits under More room to create. on the Plan page. They go into the same balance and can be spent on anything your plan allows.

Video is only on Pro and Max, so the video column applies there.

Or pick your own amount under Or choose your own amount: any amount from $5 to $500, at 800 credits per dollar. The Large pack is the better rate.

• Credits you buy never expire while your account is open.
• They are not refundable. Unspent credits stay on your balance.
• On the Free plan, bought credits lift the 10-message limit and open images while you have bought credits left. Explicit images and video still need Pro or Max.

Pro gives 5× the credits of Plus, and Max about 12×. What a credit is worth: a monthly plan gives 1,050–1,300 credits per dollar, a yearly plan 1,260–1,560, and a pack or top-up 800–930.

If you had media credits

Plans used to give separate chat and media balances. Any media credits you had were moved into your single balance automatically. Nothing was lost, and bought credits still never expire.

The pay-as-you-go API is separate: API keys spend a prepaid API wallet, not your plan’s credits.

Reminders

On a paid plan, Aderra emails you:

• when you’ve used half of this month’s plan credits, and
• 7 days and 1 day before a plan you paid for ends, unless you’ve already extended it.

These are account emails, not marketing, so they’re sent even if you’ve unsubscribed from marketing email.

If something fails

You’re never charged for a generation that failed.

• If an image or video fails or comes back empty, its credits are released automatically.
• If a chat reply stops partway, you pay only for the words already produced.
• If a reply fails before any text appears, its held credits return automatically a little later, once the request has timed out.

If you think you were charged for something that didn’t work, write to us and we’ll fix or refund it.

Refunds and ending a plan

• There is nothing to cancel. A plan ends by itself at the end of the term you paid for. To keep going, buy another term on the Plan page.
• Monthly plans aren’t refunded once the month has started.
• Yearly plans: if you want to stop before the year is over, email support@aderra.ai from the address on your account. We refund 50% of the value of the whole months remaining, and your plan ends when the refund is issued.
• Credit packs and top-ups aren’t refundable.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply where you live. You pay the equivalent in the crypto you choose at checkout.

When a plan ends, your account goes back to Free. Credits you bought stay on your balance and can still be spent. Free gives you 10 messages a day; to chat more, keep some bought credits or buy another term.
